Elementary Kidz Biz:

We are excited to announce that our elementary classes have begun brain storming about their businesses they would like to create this school year, this is called Kidz Biz. The students will learn about the entrepreneurial cycle (Recognize Opportunity > Initiate Change > Learn from Outcome > Contribute to Society) to come up with a business/product, know their customers, decide on pricing, etc. After they have had their week to sell during school lunches they will reflect on their experience. What was great? What could they do different? How much profit did they make? And how to spend their profits. Please watch for information on the App/Social Media about what products will be sold and help our students to have a successful business experience.

The HighMarket Expo will be on December 6th in conjunction with our Winter Carnival (HighMark Winter Carnival featuring HighMarket Expo). Our 8th graders will be creating a business in their Advisory class (4 businesses per class, 1 food business per class). The students will take our Elementary Kidz Biz experience, the entrepreneurial cycle, and implement that into their small group businesses for this exciting night. Students will come up with a business/product, know their customers, decide on pricing, etc. After the HighMarket Expo they will reflect on their experience. What was great? What could they do different? How much profit did they make? And how to spend their profits. Make sure to come to our Winter Carnival featuring HighMarket Expo and support these students and their businesses.
