Hi parents,
This week we are entering our 7th week of school already! We are almost 1/5 done with the school year at this point. On Wednesday and Thursday, we have parent-teacher conferences scheduled from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. We can't stress the importance of these first parent-teacher conferences enough! This is the perfect time to sit down with your student's teacher and get an accurate understanding of how they are doing up to this point. This year we have re-done our small group literacy blocks in the lower grades, added small group math instruction in our upper grades, and re-worked our advisory throughout K-9th. We are excited about all the positive transformations we are making at Highmark and can't wait to share the results with you!
