Dear Parents/Guardians:
We are looking forward to a fun-filled year, and we have a lot of events planned for your students and their families. However, for many of these events to be successful, we need the help of our PTSO, who Angie Jensen and Camille LaRose lead. The PTSO works to encourage interaction between family and school, serve as a source of support, and work with teachers, staff, and the community to improve your children's educational experience.
Our PTSO helps with family nights, teacher appreciation week, classroom parties, field trips, read-a-thons, dances, etc. In addition, they need to purchase decorations, meals, prizes, supplies, gifts, buses, etc. Therefore, we ask that each family make a contribution/donation of $35 per family to help fund our PTSO.
The PTSO will have a booth at back-to-school night with additional information and sign-ups for our upcoming events. Thank you for the continued support of Highmark.
