For specials during the weeks of April 29 and May 13 we will celebrate all our elementary students’ many talents! Students were given permission slips last Friday to bring home. If they have lost theirs or didn’t get one, please have them ask their teacher for another one. It is for students only (no parents) so that the students don’t feel nervous or afraid. It is a great way for them to practice performing in front of a group. Video submissions work too! Please send videos to Mrs. Miehlke (vmiehlke@highmarkhawks.com). It can be anything from a song, a piece of artwork, an instrument, lip sync, juggling, dance, dribbling a ball, etc. The only thing we can’t do is any form of talent that could result in injury (i.e., tumbling) – however they could take a video at home and send it in. Doing a talent with a friend/group works too! If your student would like to participate, please fill out the form and return it to your teacher or Mrs. Miehlke no later than Monday, April 29.
